Thank you for visiting E. Jeannie Merson Interiors on-line. I'd like to introduce myself and give you the opportunity to learn about the design services I offer.
Education and Experience:
I obtained my degree in interior design from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and spent time in Rochester, Minnesota working in the design field. After re-location to St. Louis I decided in 1980 to start my business, E. Jeannie Merson Interiors.
Since that time I have loved my personal contact with people in their homes and in commercial settings.
I am an observant person and my skills of space, color memory, and sound business practices have served my clients well over the years.
How I assist you:
It is my goal to help meet your needs. Whether you need help with a 3 story construction project or designing a surround for a family room fireplace, I am available for your projects big and small.
- Additions to your home
- Managing construction projects
- Contractor selection
- Lighting
- Placement of original art work
- Drafting and design of original pieces of furniture
- Aging in place so you can stay in your home
- Safety in your home such as grab bars, no sills, and material changes to floors and many other design services for your home or commercial needs.
How I work with you:
First, I interview the client to determine his or her needs and budget. Depending on the job I may need to take measurements, write specifications, help select contractors, draft plans, and select materials. The client is involved in the process by participating in a review after each step. I also purchase materials and interrelate with subs and contractors. Six months after a completed project I check to make sure that things are working well.
I like putting joy in a client's environment. I don't want to be hum drum and I want you to find something new.
